Achievements List 2012

Review on 31/12/12 - I'm pretty pleased with this list, it's definitely made me focus on what I have achieved, rather than fretting about what hasn't been done.  I'm going to do it again next year and, with a non-working day each week, I am hoping for an even longer list or certainly to have learnt new skills.

  • Cowl for me in denim chunky (made it up)
  • Little horse toy for Baby A's birthday (book)
  • Cowl for M to wear to school (& so her Mum can have hers back!)
  • Bobble blanket for Baby E - 400g Aran (£1 in charity shop!) Cuckoo's pattern
  • Ripple blanket for Baby H (seaside bedroom) - Attic 24 pattern
  • Various washcloths, on plane to Florida - Ravelry - Given as Christmas stocking presents

  • Rebel Alliance square for middle of F's birthday blanket; 2 rounds of crochet then give to S to finish (joint gift)

  • My first Sorbetto! Blue gingham remnant (£1?), 2 buttons & stash bias binding
  • Floral cotton wrap dress (Butterick 5030)
  • Second Sorbetto. Remnant of vintage (70s) fabric from vintage fair £2 
  • Third Sorbetto!  Remnant very fine cotton, white with pale green/blue leaf, very tiny. 1 metre in sale at C&H £2.62
  • Burdastyle 'Michelle' skirt PDF; pink Fabric and bias trim from stash
  • Burdastyle 'coffee date dress'; free download, green polka dot from stash, WIP
  • Sorbetto No 4 - black multi circle fabric remnant, £2.80
  • A line skirt, pattern circa 1971, 50p from charity shop, Elephant fabric
  • Sorbetto No 5 - Liberty Tana Lawn, 1 metre, remnant for £9.74)
  • Super hero costume for Boo Bear - cloak, face mask and boots plus storage bag
  • Tailor's ham - all scraps
  • Took part in Tilly's OWOP, 5 Sorbettos - and got featured!
  • Shorts pj bottoms for me - used old teen pattern; made age 13/14; used 2 lilac thrifted pillowcases (£1!); scrap of ribbon; Didyoumakethat sewalong
  • 2nd Michelle skirt (2 sizes smaller than pink one, fits better, bird fabric from Ikea, £5.38.
  • 2nd pair shorts pjs, used remains of ikea bird fabric, same pattern 
  • Muslin of 70s sun set using £1.99 charity shop sheet
  • Reversible Summer bag ( a very purple person blog tutorial found through Burdastyle). Used 2 curtain samples, added zip pocket
  • Started patchwork quilt for our bed, WIP
  • Floral sun set for me, 70s pattern
  • Summer bag - adapted same bag pattern
  • 3rd summer bag, bigger size, thank you gift for Auntie S, for dance shoes
  • 4th summer bag for A, smallest size
  • 5th summer bag, biggest yet; £3 remnant 
  • Colette 'Hazel' sundress, making muslin WIP
  • Smocked dress for Baby A - made it up, scrap from S's skirt
  • Dressing gown for M's birthday, pale blue stash

  • Denim storage bin for S - yarn stash bucket, made out of P's old Levis & an old shirt - Christmas gift - £0
